The H100i RGB has a new cooling plate and pump system over the H100X, the H100X is the old version. The H100i also comes with magnetic levitation fans which makes it silent.
The benefit with any AIO is the exchange of heat is external to the case, so this actually cools down everything inside the case thanks to the increased airflow. Any air cooler is going to expel the warm air in and around the case, relying on the rest of the system to exhaust it.

Suppose I need to decide whether to go for that or the nh-u14s which I wanted initially but didn't fit in the case I originally picked, but does fit in the fractals..
Something about too many led's is bugging me, as I play/record guitar too and don't want leds to interfere with it, but obviously no idea whether they will or not at present.

Regarding the Fractal cases is there much difference between the Meshify C and Define 7 Compact? This is if I have the quiet cooling fans and psu.
The Meshify will fit much better in the space I have as its a few cm less in height and depth. Admittedly the Define just look smarter though.

Just looking at this meshify, I'm reading some reviews and a few people state that it helps to replace the stock 120mm fans on the front with Noctua ones. Can I buy and send noctua fans with the case thats to be built in, and they will replace them as part of the build? Not sure exactly how it works if I buy the case myself.
Don't suppose you know the difference with these, I assume these are the ones to replace the Fractal Design Dynamic X2 GP-12 120 mm fans that come with Meshify

Ok so I'm moving towards the H100i rbg platiunum since it looks like the Noctua will be a very tight fit in my case (4mm in the define compact, a few mm extra space in the meshify). Are these quiet as I read quite a bit about them being loud? Also of the H100i and H115i is any of them quieter than the other?
On forums like this, I'm happy to take your word for it. Is there any benefit to h100i over h115i?
One other thing that was mentioned was the 3666mhz ram, is this best than 3200? I read that some people say the 3200 is better with the Ryzen. I can only go by the internet as I lack the knowledge as alot of you
I'd been looking up on the Ryzen and some people say that you don't necessary need a cooler as it comes with a cooler itself. I will get one I'm just wondering whether it needs that most expensive one. Also thinking about going for the 3700x as I suspect the 3900x might be overkill

The H115i is a 280mm radiator, it's not required for the processor you've chosen. The H100i is a 240mm radiator. So long as you choose the platinum versions, they'll be the same loudness.

Yes, the cooler on the Ryzen is an air cooler with an in built fan.
The H100i is a closed loop watercooler with a 240mm radiator with 2 fans on it.
I assume they'll do that when they build it? sorry I don't know how it works, I'm guessing both can't fit and i won't end up with them all in the box
