My original configuration of drives was:

C: - 512GB PCS PCIe M.2 SSD (3300 MB/R, 2200 MB/W)
D: - 2TB SOLIDIGM P44 PRO GEN 4 M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD (up to 7000MB/sR, 6500MB/sW)
E: - 8TB SEAGATE IRONWOLF PRO 3.5", 7200 RPM 256MB CACHE

I’ve very recently upgraded the C drive to:

1TB SOLIDIGM P44 PRO GEN 4 M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD (up to 7000MB/sR, 6500MB/sW).

The drives contain the following:

C: Windows 11 and installed programmes;
D: Documents and downloads; and
E: Pictures, Videos and Music

I use FreeFileSync to back up the D and E drives to external hard drives and now want to create a System Image Backup of my C drive. Is it safe to rely on Windows Back up and Restore (Windows 7) function or would you recommend using a third party tool such as Acronis True Image?
