RAM Hz mismatch

Hi all,

My PC is a PCS build and I've left the details below.

I added an identical stick of RAM and in the BIOS they're not at the same speed. Is this normal or can it be fixed?

Please see the attached picture of speeds.

I can't find the link but I found the box and I've accidentally bought 2666MHz instead of the 2400MHZ to match the one that came with the PC. Does that make this better or worse? Haha.

The 2666 stick should be about to match the 2400 and not be on 2133?

Because they're not a matched pair they're operating in single channel mode which will reduce performance.

If you go into the BIOS you can set the XMP value for the RAM, it will likely only operate at the speed of the lowest stick.
