I wanted a add a few more RAM sticks, so got 2 x 16GB DDR4 3,000mhz Vengeance LPX, but have an issue. Here's me thinking I could just pop into the slots, but no!

PC did boot, but very slowly. Then after a few restarts, just a continuous loop where it doesn't even get to the boot splash page.

Do I need to change anything in BIOS? Have I got the wrong memory? Thank you for any advice.

Firstly, what do you run that requires more RAM? Have you verified the system is running out of RAM?

Secondly, can you post a photo of the label on the RAM so we can see the specs?

RAM has to be quite closely matched to work properly, need to make sure all the specs are the same.

I suppose I was just being greedy, is all! Not had any RAM warnings, but was just wanted to upgrade anyway.

What do you use the PC for? RAM doesn't offer any benefit unless it's required, doesn't speed up the PC or anything, it will literally sit there doing nothing.
