A concern I have is that the motherboard comes with WiFi, this I did not realise and also chose an external WiFi card. But it has not come up on the list of my build. Obviously I do not need it, have contacted pc specialist a few times with no reply

@louishadaway have a read of this thread if you can:

When you say 'rate' and 'concern' - what do you want?

If you're after feedback on your build, follow the steps in the above link and post the full build including the total cost and configurable link. Tell us your budget and what you're going to be using the PC for.

It isn't going to cause a problem, but you just don't need the wifi card (as you rightly point out, you have wifi onboard your motherboard) - you can amend your order via your login on the main PCS website though so don't need to get through to PCS necessarily.

I have done this and it says it will charge me money, to remove something I have already been charged for which I also don't need. This hasn't been built yet but will PCS take this into consideration and contact me about it, or will they just build it. This is my first time using PCS

Is the PC in building already? As far as I know the only time you'd get charged for making an amendment is if you're already in building.

PCS will build the PC to your spec, they might not get in touch. Your best bet is to give them a phone and (as annoying as it may be) wait out the queue to speak to someone.

The GPU is out of stock so has to wait for that, the pre-production stage length increases everyday, so far it has gone up to 10 day wait

No its a warning saying you may be charged for amending the order during the build stage its not actually stating it will charge you a admendment fee when you follow through with the amendment itll state the cost of the diffrence of the component you want to change and below that it will state the fee to amend seeing how this order is in preproduction the fee will display as £0

Thank you for your message jamiephillips, would this amend my cost of how much I have to pay PCS as well? I have this pc on finance option

I don't know if the finance amount is adjusted, last time I purchased a PC from PCS on finance (~8 year ago) I got a credit note from PCS (for reductions in cost) - but I've read here other accounts with different outcomes. You would need to discuss this with PCS to be certain in your case.
