heh, yeh but i got an issue. 1 minute to start up! dunno wt* is goin on! also i have 8 games installed and about 20 programs if that helps. ah start up process 42!

1 min is nothing tbh check what is in ur 'startup' folder in start --> programs

Also needta check what loads on start up, adobe reader is a common one, waste of time

anyways! have another question for you. Whats the main difference between 70mb write on crusial and 275mb write on Vertex 2? where write speed is used for ?

Saving data to disc, eg pasting files, compiling code, dlding from net, saving word doc, writing error logs to disc. Read: Just getting data off disk, copying from disc, playing a game, launching windows, launching a program etc
