Ok, what I think is happening here is that that realtek control panel is actually installed from the windows store, it's not part of the driver. Quite frankly any UWP apps just don't work, almost exclusively.

How do you access it, do you click on start and then find it in the program list?

When it installed, it asked if I wanted to add to task bar so access it from there.

So I've installed it from the Microsoft Store but I'm getting the same issue.
You need to uninstall CP again.

Then uninstall the audio driver from device manager.

Then reboot and allow the driver to reinstall, post a screenshot of the audio devices in device manager.
