So had this for a little bit now so time for a mini review.

I've had a couple of Clevo laptops from PCSpecialist now and they've always looked sharp and understated. Not sure who makes the chassis for the Recoil (TongFang I think?) but it's equally as good. I think they're a newer company so how they'll do in the long run remains to be seen. Looks and feels good though.
Seen some mixed views on the keyboard but it's nice. Full RGB is a nice touch. Never used a mechanical keyboard before to be honest but it doesn't feel much different to any other.
Since my last machine, SSD prices have fallen quite a bit. Didn't expect to put so much SSD storage on this at first but it's worth it. From a 120gb upto 540MB/sR | 450MB/sW SSD to a 1tb upto 1800MB/sR | 1800MB/sW SSD. Pretty impressive. Everything just loads so quickly.
The 2070 is great for gaming. Handled everything I've tried so far. Most recently been playing Metro Exodus which looks amazing on the display (I like the new trend of narrow bezels). Great for older games as well such as CS:GO where you can really appreciate the 144hz screen (Maxed out and doesn't drop below 144. Not unexpected but feels great to play). Speaking of gaming, the thermals are strong as well. Exodus is the most demanding game i've played so far but the GPU temp tops out at 74c. CPU runs a little hotter (Didn't log it so can't remember) but I've undervolted it which does help. Interestingly, it's delivered with a -0.50v undervolt out of the box. I've got it down to -0.140 without any issues.

The thermals are good but that's in part because the fans can work hard when they need to. When under load it can get loud. Use headphones if you need to do something demanding. You'll want to anyway because the speakers are pretty quiet. They sound "ok" but there's no real volume there. (I highly recommend Dolby Atmos as well. Never tried it before but games especially really seem to benefit from it)
The lid is also a bit of a fingerprint magnet, but other than that, can't fault it really.
