No manual seems to be available for the Recoil 17. However I think I've worked out most of it. My query is regarding the touchpad which has two LEDs embedded into it, top right adn top left. Through trial and error I've managed tp work out that double tapping near the LED top left I can toggle the touchpad on/off but the one top right has got me beat. Double tapping around the top right LED simply seems to make the touchpad erratic. What am I missing? Anyone worked out what this is supposed to do?

If you open up the touchpad settings it will tell you what those hotspots are for. The left one is normally to disable the trackpad. Top right is likely to increase scrolling sensitivity.

Nothing in there to explain what these 'hotspots do' and I have looked in all the sub-categories

The latest version of CC available in the PCS web site for Win11 is 5.1.50.6 dated 03/04/2024 - so the version supplied with my machine is actually newer than the one available for download on the web site.

In your situation, I would contact PCS and ask confirmation about the most recent version of the CC for your laptop.

I believe control center is different on different chassis as the BIOS controls are different.
Probably, but I honestly don't know. 🤷‍♂️

My account, for example, only has the first release; I requested the current version directly from PCS about a year ago.

I have the Recoil 17. The top left LED activates and deactivates the whole touchpad. The right hand LED only affects the right hand side. Not sure why you would want only half of your touchpad working but that's what it does.

Thank you. its a pity there seems to be no manual/guide available. I have to agree about not sure why you would want to disable 1/2 the touchpad
