Sorry to be a pain to anyone I’m just wondering if I could have a 2nd opinion on this pc build, it’s the fusion ultimate with a few changes my mate suggested!

I’m curious if any of it is overkill or any changes that are needed please?

Very curious if the processor cooling is enough or not?, again I’m quite new to all this so maybe missing some vital stuff etc!

Power supply as well, the website says a 650w would be enough but my mate suggesting 850w for 2nd monitor and stuff?

Bought a laptop few year ago but wanting to upgrade mainly for a game called “escape from tarkov”

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated, hope everyone that reads this is well!

It would be wiser to think about PC once you have decided which resolution you want to aim for

Sure, if you can afford the higher price (100-120£ more). Anyway I play quite decently EFT @1440p on my laptop which is extremely weaker than a combo Ryzen 7 7700X/Radeon 7800XT.

This build is definitely workable if you wanted the 7800X3D which is a phenomenal processor and worth stretching for if you can.

The only amendment I’d make is split the drives into 2, That way if you need to reinstall windows you don’t have to wipe your games drive at all, just the OS

The 7800X3D is crazy efficient, but I'd suggest a premium cooler on there for reliability, the H100i

Wise choice, full HD can't be seen honestly nowadays


Sure, if you can afford the higher price (100-120£ more). Anyway I play quite decently EFT @1440p on my laptop which is extremely weaker than a combo Ryzen 7 7700X/Radeon 7800XT.

I’m currently gaming on a 2060 rtx laptop I got in 2020 with a 1080p monitor I do struggle to see and enjoy Tarkov due to performance which I wish wasn’t the case 😂

With the 7800x3d it’s just under 2k which I was gonna spend anyway so I think I might go with that!

You tried the new wipe today for tarkov?

It’s also given more headroom on the PSU should you want to upgrade the GPU to a higher tier in the future, plus added silver warranty for £5er which increases return to base shipping from one month to one year, well worth it.

The case is quite pricey, you could drop that down a bit if you wanted, but I left it in there as it’s such a beautiful design as well as being an excellent performer, it’s one I would choose as well.

Not yet; Battlestate is now down for maintenance, and I'm unable to download the 0.14 patch.

Eh Streets is really heavy, I can hardly get a rock solid 60+ frame in all locations, but it's not a major deal because I mostly play the unofficial single player mod (I hate competitive games) and the AI isn't exactly Einstein there...

Try the launcher now, I’ve literally just loaded it up and let me play no bother, maybe sorted now but doubt it 😂

Definitely, and you can't play it unless you own the original game, so it's not really a pirate-like thing.

In addition, I read in the patch notes that armor plates were finally added to make everything even more realistic.
This type of mod has been present in the SP for over a year already.

So I recently posted in forums (great help from the two that answered) maybe a week or so ago sorry for the repeat post but I’m about to spend a lot of money on this pc build so I’m wanting to make sure I’ve not overlooked or not realised something… also question about the motherboard I’m currently looking at for this build! The specs below are what I’m 99% set on but I got recommended a different motherboard originally (ASUS TUF gaming B650 plus Wi-Fi) , is there much difference in motherboards apart from price difference ? (Seen some complaints about ASUS motherboard combined with the ryzen 7 7800x3d but that was many months ago!)

Also does everything come set up with this build , the BiOs etc ? Happily gonna learn everything better myself but just wondering beforehand, thanks everyone
