Hi all,
Just wanted to reach out to the community for some advice. While I did love my Defiance VII when it arrived, and I think PCSpecialist is an excellent company which does provide some great laptops and PCs, due to issues regarding heat on the CPU & a broken screw on one of the heat sinks, I have had to RMA it for a second time three weeks ago. The laptop is now 59 days old, and unfortunately I am leaving the country early next week, and the laptop will not be ready by then. I have had to submit a refund request as a result, but I am unsure of whether this will get approved (of course they are probably not legally obligated to, don't really know the law). I do need to purchase a new laptop for work however. This leaves me in a bit of a dilemma: I do not want to pay for a new one (which I need for work) if my old one will not be refunded, otherwise I'd just have two laptops. Does anyone have any experience with the refund department?
Thank you for any info whatsoever.
