Hi all,

I recently bought the Fusion Ultra second hand, decent machine I have to say. the guy I bought it from says I can download the media recovery online. However when I check I have to have bought the pc direct and not second hand first.. is this right? is there anyway we can transfer ownership to me? I don't need it straight away but as I am testing the machine, adding things, removing etc I don't want it going to wall and not having a chance to recover windows.

Also - the 128GB M.2 drive - what's on that as I dont know what it is for.

cheers for the advice.

To transfer the warranty you need to contact the seller, and they can do this through their online account. You will need this to download any drivers as there is no public repository.

To download windows installer, you can do that direct from microsoft.

It's your machine, you can put whatever you like on it, best to format it and start fresh.

Normally if you have one M.2 drive in the machine that is where you would expect the OS to be

I have contacted the fella and he is going to transfer the warranty.. The m.2 is full.. Like 126gb of 128gb used. Its registered as D: there is an option popping up on boot to boot to Windows 10 or Windows 11 (Windows 11 is on the c:) so wasn't sure what it was used for?

I plan on changing the ssd to an m.2, hence the need for a windows install iso..
