Review of my laptop

Had mine for a few weeks now.

Arrived on the day expected. Only problem was delivered to a neighbour! So that took a bit of tracking down!

I use mine in my work as an engineering lecturer. Performs well in everything I've asked it to do (just about). Has the oomph needed to carry out operations like rendering images of CAD designs.

About the only slight niggle is battery life. I'd expect it to be low when doing some of the computationally demanding stuff I do from time to time. But it seems to have a battery life of about 3 hours with relatively simple word processing and email tasks.

But it is what it is. I'm mostly using it on the mains adaptor, so not causing me any significant issues.

I was puzzled at first that I couldn't link to the display screen in the classroom with via the HDMI output but by using an adaptor in the USB-C socket that's not an issue. I've concluded the problem is with the display screen as the HDMI output works perfectly OK when I plug into the TV at home!

images need to be less than 1mb in size.

Regarding problems with the display in classroom on the HDMI it might be the refresh rate / resolution settings or the cable itself.
