First, I'll apologise in advance for if this is in the wrong place, I didn't actually know where to put it, really. Not a frequent forums person, and all.
Second off, I'm definitely being impatient here and that's definitely on me, not anybody else (I'm sure of that much, I get anxious when I have limited access to the stuff I use to work and relax, and with the state of the world it's hard to exactly go outside to pass the time instead, I just wanted to make sure it doesn't seem like I'm trying to place blame on the company in these times), but after two weeks without it since I sent my device for an RMA, so far all I have gotten was an automated reply three days in telling me that they were processing, and were sorry the laptop had been with me for three days. Of course, that email came three days after they got it, not at the two week mark, just in case that was confusing...
So, trying to put my mind at ease at least somewhat, and to give myself an estimate to look forward to, does anyone have an idea of the current average of time that RMAs are taking to get responses? I don't imagine what device it is / what damage it's taken has a bearing on when it's going to get looked at, just how long it takes from that point.
--------
And, I realise this forum gets a lot of negative complaints, so I'll add onto this question some positivity by saying that the device I got from this site has been the most powerful I've ever had, has ran smooth, and has overall been delightful to work with. The problem that led to an RMA wasn't a catastrophe, really - the laptop began to only charge at certain tedious angles that made it hard to keep alive (and a replacement power outlet from this site didn't work either), so I had it RMA'd under the assumption that it was going to be a port issue (and I was not going to be daring enough to try DIY, better to leave it to the people who know what they're doing).
