rtx 3070 sales preference according to upgrade / build ?

Yea has anyone received just a 3070 GPU yet as part of the upgrade scheme? Only seen full builds being dispatched so far on here and I've noticed the 3000 series (other than 3060 Ti) aren't listed on the upgrade system any more. Hopefully they can get on top of the existing orders soon!
huh interesting, I have read even from PCS that DPD do not pick up over the weekend. Maybe it's changed due to the backlog.

That's not correct, ready for despatch is while it's waiting to be collected, despatched means DPD have picked it up.
I see. So DPD do indeed pick up over the weekend then as implied? Lots of posts on here about the fact that 'Dispatched' meant it was technically not picked up by DPD yet and that would happen on the following Monday?

I always thought DPD didn't pick up at weekends as well, but as you say, perhaps PCS have asked for extra collections during this time which would be great. Normally, you're correct, if it wasn't collected on the Friday night, then it wouldn't be delivered until Tuesday (collected monday).
Before covid, as soon as you received the notification that the PC was awaiting despatch, it was 99% of the time collected that night. Very occasionally it wasn't but that was rare.
During covid, not sure if related to reduced pick ups by DPD due to their own issues, or perhaps if related to the amount of units that are awaiting collection and they can't fit them all on the van / lorry, quite often awaiting despatch can take a couple of days.
This would be fantastic if they've asked for more collections, so fingers crossed

Mine was listed as waiting for dispatch on Thursday morning, dispatched on Friday morning and delivered on Saturday
Which was a nice surprise as I was originally told by DPD that it was being delivered today! I thought Saturday deliveries were only possible if you specified them?

Normally they are and it costs extra. Are you sure you didn’t accidentally specify it or change delivery slot on the app or something?

I think the couriers are trying to get stuff delivered to folk as quick as possible, the other week i ordered something from one of my cycling suppliers on a saturday and they said it would get to me on the monday, hermes delivered it on the sunday which was great

Definitely not. I'd been deliberating upgrading to the Saturday delivery but didn't bother in the end.
Plus the only option I had through DPD was to push the delivery date out from today. Couldn't even change to collect from depot.

That’s a total bonus then, either PCS ordered the extra to get it to you sooner, or DPD have opened up weekend deliveries for free for the run up to Christmas, or it was a mistake.
Any way you swing it, it’s a bonus, really pleased for you! Also means it’s not sitting in the depot all weekend which is good.
Do you happen to know what times DPD picks up from PCS? Been 'awaiting dispatch' since Friday, so i thought it would be picked up today some time for delivery tomorrow. I guess DPD will pick it up today some time in the afternoon?

I don’t know for sure, but a place I worked DPD used to come between around 3 and 5.
People tend to get their despatched emails towards the 5pm mark. PCS are open til 8 so if you haven’t got it by then, jump on the web chat or phone if the queues aren’t too crazy.
