rtx 3070 sales preference according to upgrade / build ?

Just curious, what does your build time in the invoice says? Does it have more than 22 working days. When I placed my order it said Standard Build - Approximately 12 to 15 working days.

and I'm on 10 Working days.

It’s really really difficult when the cards run dry like this to give any concrete expectations, the 3080 lot have had it the worst, but that’s improved massively over the last couple of weeks.

It says that on any order made. When i made my order back around the 10th March with a 3080 GPU, I got the standard 12 to 15 working days and I knew I'd be waiting a lot longer than that to get my new pc. I'll admit I wasn't expecting it to be in the region of 120+ days 😱but i only ended up waiting for 97 days and, as @SpyderTracks said, it has improved quite a bit recently

For anyone interested in my journey (regular 3070 build), still in build as of noon today (WD 25, went into build first thing WD 23). Yesterday evening I got a message from support saying my case was incompatible (too small) for my GPU/ram/cooler configuration, so I had to change it, got that sorted and payed for yesterday evening, so hoping today I'll go into testing, may even get dispatched by the end of the week which would be ideal. I have to hand it to support, it hasn't been great in terms of queue expectations (both on their part and due to the situation tbf) but making the case amendment took about 12 minutes from notification to complete, and considering all communication about it was done through email, I was pretty impressed with the speed.

Alright so I posted the above and went to my account to double check and I'm now in testing haha, anyone able to advise whether you think I'm likely to get it dispatched by the end of this week based on going into testing at roughly 12:30pm today (Thursday)?

Testing can take an hour or it can take days. It's hard to tell it's really down to whether or not they find any problems

All going well it could be despatched today/tomorrow.

I would expect it may be despatched by tomorrow end of day, it all depends if issues are found in testing and if DPD have the capacity to collect it once it's despatched. No one can really tell I'm afraid.

It takes about a week to deliver to ireland because it has to go through customs, so there's no way it would be with you early next week.

Ah mate to be the bearer of bad news, Rep. Ireland means Fed Ex which means it'll sit in the port for at least a week waiting on customs clearance

I've an order in myself at the moment that has no GPU with an estimated build time of 16-19 working days if i get it in that time frame i'll be very happy, if not it will arrive when its ready, just remember:

And with this, my waiting journey with PCSpecialist comes to a close. Could have been dispatched a day or two ealier if there hadn't been case issues during build, but as far as things go (in todays climate anyway), was a fairly short wait all things considered. I'm sure I'm in for an absolute nightmare with FedEx (as I live in RoI), but as long as I get it by next weekend, what's another week of waiting . Thanks to everyone for the company and advice during the wait.

Sadly no, but there was some funny business on my order page where sales order for additional fans where cancelled. Called PCS and they said they were just moving things around so it all reflects as 1 order 🤷‍♂️
They said they will sort it and pass to the build team which tells me its soon. I didn't wanna jinx it so I didn't ask the question I was burning to ask 😝

It depends when DPD picks up, but its normally daily, and late afternoon from what i've experienced in the past

It’s just you would think 3 different people paid to have this information will give a better response than I’ll have to check why and email you and never do. Once was even after being placed on hold for 15 mins. It’s the little things that ruin customer experience
