Received delivery from DPD this morning.

Frankly disgusted.

Guy just dragged it off the back of the van, where it had been put sideways (even though the box CLEARLY shows the arrow for the direction it should be kept, and the glass fragile logo)

Carried it, again, sideways to my door, and was about to just dump it down, until I reach out and stopped him.

Was also about to walk away with letting me log it as "unchecked".

Opened the main box, to find loose screws and brackets all over. (Glass corsair obsidian case!!!)

The smaller package inside which is supposed to contain documentation and extra fittings, was just scrushed, hence why screws and bits all over.

I'm also, very surprised to find, that having checked all the documentation that came with the system, I have not received any packaging or more importantly, any documentation for my 3080 gpu.

The state of the delivery is extremely frustrating, when I've stated prior to dispatch (both here, and over the telephone to pcspecialists) that I live only 30 minutes from the base of operations.

I could have collected the system last Friday in person and avoided having to deal with DPD altogether.

Oh... and STILL waiting for the promo codes that were supposed to come with the system

I've had to deal with GLS and DPD and they don't care about our parcels whether it's written fragile or not. Since i'm only in the first 13 days of pre-prod I think that covid restrictions will have been lifted and i'll be able to pick it up :D

I don't want to think how they're going to deliver my package as I'm currently in Romania 🤦‍♂️. I'm genuinely scared because of how they deal with the parcels. Also considering it will be 100+ days of wait, I really hope everything arrives safely.

I've just had a chat with PCS and decided to ask them how much longer do they think I might have to wait for my PC considering I'm on 31 days atm. For now, it's looking at another 1.5 - 2 months time, if the situation does not improve. So for everyone around the same time as I, be aware that we still have a long journey ahead.

Not sure who this will help if anyone atall but i was seriously considering changing to a 3070 so spoke to them on live chat. They dont have any available 30 series in stock (even though it says they have the 70s in stock on their site) so my mate jumped ship and amended to the 70. I take it he will now lose his position in the 3080 card que if he decides to amend back to the 80? I'm on 36 days pre build and they said a rough estimate for me is 1.5/2 months. Dont know if that gives anyone 50-80ish days any help or info but thought id share anyway.

they just said the same to me pal im on 36 days. was going to change to the 3070 but they have none of them either and said the wait would be similar though slightly quicker due to less demand

If he amends back he shouldn't have lost his spot for the 3080 as it's all based on when you ordered your build rather than specific parts.

Apologies if this has already been answered but I’m not too familiar with forums and how they work!
My 3080 order is on 33 working days but I’ve made several amendments to the order as I’ve learnt more about PC’s and realised what I initially chose could be optimised better.
Does amending the order place you to the back of the queue for the 3080 orders each time you do it?

Fingers crossed, also on 105, I was told on Thursday all of my parts are in stock and to expect to go into build in 1-2 working days but looks like they’ve received a delivery of 5950x and other GPUs so the production queue is pretty busy right now. Hopefully it’ll be this week some time!

So I got off live chat and they said a power button issue is holding up my order. What would be the cause of that, simply the case being a bust or a power supply? I had a look and everything seems to be in stock apart from the motherboard so hopefully the issue is minor.

Ah how frustrating :( I'm currently on live chat now and they're telling me that it looks as if my parts were picked on the 9th (which suggests I was lucky and have secured a 3080 from a previous shipment) just waiting for confirmation of building date now from production!
