Anywhere from 1-26% increase over 7800X3D - average 8% geomean over 40 games tested. 1-59% faster than the Intel 285K - average 20% - over the same 40 game run.

If it's more than 10% more expensive than the 7800X3D then they're going have to ramp up the 7800X3D lines again ;)

From early listings, its $30 more expensive than the 7800X3D was at launch which is around 7% increase I think

How quick do we think PCS will have the new model listed (going by previous releases)? I need to post in the Check this spec sub forum for feedback on a build

As soon as the embargo lifts they're typically ready to go. You can post up a build minus the CPU though, just select the 9700X as a place holder.

Wow £150 more expensive than the (unavailable, and possibly at discounted price) 7800X3D, and £190 more expensive than the 9700X placeholder we've been using. Configs will need some tweaking to fit into original budgets!

I paid £370 for my 7800X3D this January. It went down as low as around £330 around Juneish I think

It was now up to around £480 at places you could actually find it

I have a feeling PCS price when it went out of stock was still very low at around £350ish

Yes, not seen it higher than £349 since January (until it went OOS), and would either mean PCS price is very low, or the PCS price for the 9800X3D is high. The 9700X has dropped from around £340 to £310 since launch.

I've seen the 9800X3D for sale at £479, so £60 more than the price the 7800X3D is listed/selling at since it went OOS, but £130 more than the 12-month average price before it went OOS.

So it's either 12.5% more expensive or 25% more expensive depending which base price you use.
