Hey, what will this PC be used for? If it's gaming, it's likely massively overspeced. Also what's your budget? And would you be able to add in the configurable link. That would help us a lot! Thanks!

Hi I do apologise, yes I am using for gaming but also for work. I am a software engineer.

My budget isn't really the issue at the moment. But I do want something that will last for long.

I am not sure where to get the reconfigure link. I will look for it

If budget is no issue, then you're ok with Ā£8000 on the build?

Sorry to be facaetious, but we really do need a maximum budget to work to otherwise this process takes far too much energy.

Thank you I put these changes in.
Does pcs put trial version of Windows on the computer or is it completely blank
They have a barebones test system on them, just so they can test therm before they ship them, THIS IS NOT USABLE BY THE CUSTOMER

My personal take... iā€™d also buy a single LL120 fan and install it yourself as a rear exhaust. (you already have a lighting node and i think a commander node on this build).

This is exactly what I have gone for. Although the case I kept cuz to me it looks a little better. Is the icue 5000x compulsory? I quite like the COOLERMASTER one I have. Also I wish to have space if I ever do need the upgrade. If I do then I'll send back pcs.

I would say the Corsair is a better care personally, especially in terms on linking the fans lighting, as the AIO fans will be the same make (not the same type though).

The 5000X is really clean looking imo and can fit plenty in. But if you prefer the cooler master, with them components inside, they will all work fantastically.

Only concern of mine, is whether you need the 3080 or not, especially considering the waiting time. Iā€™d be tempted to go 3070/6800/6800XT

How long do you think it would take? I don't mind waiting but if it means I'll have to wait for endless months it may be a problem. I've seen some posts who said they has their entire pc complete between 1 to 2 months.

Since both the ryzen 9 processor that's been selected plus the graphics card. I'm worried this maybe will take half the year šŸ˜‚

The cpu is likely to arrive before the 3080 iā€™d say, but both are in low stock. Unfortunately Nvidia and AMD have managed to become pull businesses.

Indeed. I originally went for Intel. I am a bit of a noob when it comes to hardware. I really should have learned more as I am working with them everyday. But thank you. Only other concern I have is the motherboard and the power cable. Do I really need the 850 watt. It says I may only nƩed 715 so a 750 would suffice. Nevertheless, its somehow also cheaper to the 750 watt. I'm really confused why

I was going to spec you a 1000W psu to be honest... 850W is scraping it a bit here imo. I did initially put it in, but it went over budget, but i then removed additional fans i added, so really, iā€™d probably up it to 1000W if anything.

The more % load on your psu, the more it works, the hotter and louder it becomes and the shorter its lifespan. Ideally i would want 25% or so headroom, to allow for future upgrades also.

What does it mean by % load. And is it bad at 850. Do you mean if its a lower watt it'll actually be more likely for the components to break more easily?

It's taking over 90 working days for PC's with a 3080 to go into building from what I've seen on the forum

If your system needs 715W and you have a 1000W psu, your load is 71.5% which is fine, but with an 850W psu is 84%. I would rather have say 20% breathing room, this has 26%, but then future upgrades could erode that.
