Screen blackout issues

Currently running triples with 1080ti 11gb, i7 700k, 650watt psu and ASUS® ROG STRIX Z270E .
Ive had a long standing issue with my PC whereby if the gpu temps go above 65 degrees one of my monitors blacks out but game keeps running.
I thought gpu's could run much hotter than this before throttling or causing issues but its definitely temperature related as it never happens belows those temps . The card max temp is set to 84 degrees.
Ive got msi fan curve set and i monitor gpu cpu temps with no over clocks.
Has anyone had this issue before or ever come across this type thing very fustrating problem.
Any suggestions?

How long have you had it? If it's still under warranty I would call PCS, that sounds like hardware to me.

Have had it since 2017 so out Warranty but i have previously raised this with PCS and received a replacement GPU as a result but the problem has never really been rectified and is only really managed by me making sure to keep my GPU under 50 degrees which as you can imagine is quite difficult with some titles on triples and especially when attempting to run VR which i have now given up on.

Silly as it sounds, might be the PSU, perhaps too much draw on the circuit? Had stranger things happen with bad psu's in the past, my current rig (twin Xeon with pascal based quadro) and that needed a beast of a psu to stay stable, well over what you would think, 800s just didn't cut the mustard with it, got a platinum 1000 in to sort that! And been stable ever since. If you can borrow a psu of a friend/family and try it, see how it goes, just make sure it's high enough rated. Or try remove everything from the psu you don't absolutely need (disks and the likes) and see how you get on

Yes im starting to suspect the psu as i have had this suggested on a couple of forums . Not sure how confident i am of doing this myself but i will look into it and i will certainly upgrade it to reach a solution.

Like I said, pull everything loading the psu off it, and only the MB/Gpu plugged in (if possible, if you need boot disk obv do that), unplug all USB stuff (small load, but still load) except kb/mouse

Then try see what you get. Also have a look in your event viewer system log, see if your getting Windows reporting over or under power warnings. Psu issues though are a royal pain to investigate, as they only usually happen under load, and the Gpu is one of the highest load creators in a pc.
