Its whatever you are streaming that's going to be the resource drain. If you're planning on streaming your console there are other ways of doing that which are probably more cost efficient.

Not deliberately, I figured as you were after specs for a PC you might not be aware of the dedicated capture cards (as opposed to getting a PC and a capture card) its something you should look into, it might work out more cost effective for you to go down that route as opposed to speccing a rig just to run a capture card.

Twitch broadcast requirements: http://help.twitch.tv/customer/portal/articles/1253460-broadcast-requirements

Avermedia Capture Cards: http://gamerzone.avermedia.com/

I've not used capture cards before so can't comment on their suitability etc. I just knew they were available.

There will be plenty of reviews and most likely forum discussions about this from folk in the know, maybe even someone on this forum has one of these stand alone capture cards (or a 'pc' capture card). Just getting a PC to use a capture card seems a bit much however, especially as you've just sold yours.

Then why not just use the PS4?
There is a button on the controller called share.. Press that :)

Don't ask me for more details on it as I do not own a PS4, but that is one of it's selling points. It might be the service is not up yet but will be soon.

ISNT THERE TIME LIMITS ON THESE?

Anyway ordered a cap cared the one suggested will get it tomorrow, read lots of positives but the negatives are all the same with it not recognizing any cpu for editing ect and green lines when recording but we shall see tomorrow.
