Solution: reset bios
=====================
very vague explanation on fix
  • take out gpu
  • take out all but one ram stick
  • take out battery for a minute
  • put battery back in
  • boot pc
  • shutdown pc
  • place gpu back in
  • boot pc
  • shut down pc
  • re insert any remaining ram sticks
  • boot pc
  • done!
=====================

I've been trying to install a second m.2 which is a pretty simple task, after putting everything back together the following happens

1 short beep (which is just the usual beep I get when the pc turns on)

few seconds later...
1 long beep 3 short beeps

Update: another short delay I have another short beep

I rechecked everything to make sure everything is seated correctly which they were and then I tried removing the SSD and starting again with no such luck

1 long beep and 3 short beeps is a graphic-related error. Make sure all cables for your monitor(s) are plugged in, and make sure the GPU is seated properly :)

Try turning monitor on before you boot the PC, can you also post your specs from your orders page
