I wasnt aware when I did the suggestion spec I posted that Intel had taken a temporary lead on AMD atm.
What I have seen though when digging through the site today is theres an expected release of the 7000 series AMD, which will also be a new socket (so new motherboards too).

It may well be worth, especially given your budget, to hold off for 6 months to take advantage of that?

All of you guys thank you so much and I'm really sorry for the delayed responses I have basically in nice words been told I'm stupid for going for 5k and at that point it's diminishing returns of money spend to performance.
So I am probably settling with a 3600 pc still beefy and overall worth the money more.(3400 odd with the 3 year care and etc.)
I would I mean this I would wait until the other stuff comes out but ik its all going to be very overpriced on the initial release so Ima buy now use it for uni and work and stuff and a couple years time I'll go all in on a ddr5 or maybe a 6 by then .
i9 12900k
z690 aorus
32gb corsair vengeance
3080ti
2x 1tb firecuda ssd
These are the main specs I went with in the long run but I now need to add a larger power supply or just buy one when I need an upgrade when I want the better cpu, gpu.
Thank you all once again and im sorry for the late reply. :)

Not stupid, just carried away.
And trust me, loads of people do it...including myself. Should of seen me when I spec'd my current build 18 months ago.... it can be a very steep learning curve!
