Sound blaster cinema 6 is not working

Hi Team,
I just took laptop 1 month back. I have notice that my laptop's sound is very poor. When i searched online on PCS forum, came to know about sound blaster cinema 6 profiles. When i opened my sound blaster cinema 6 soft, i can see belwo screen. Moreover i found no soundblaster app is running in task manager or in background.No icon in taskbar menu.

PCS pls help ,My laptop's sound quality is very poor.

Do you have any external speaker connected?
I receive the same error on my laptop when using sound blaster 2 but assumed it was due to using external speakers.

When ever I use laptop's speaker it sound quality is poor, therefore i have to use external speaker. But this issue must be rectified for laptop's internal speaker.

That's not the full spec, but still. Did you buy a copy of Windows with it or did you install your own?

It would have been better to allow Windows Update to find them, those in the PCS downloads section may not be up to date. Is there anything in Device Manager missing a driver (yellow triangle)? It might be worth uninstalling your audio device and the allowing Windows Update to find the best driver.

I had similar issues in the past and completely forgot about sound blaster, as it is very finicky with driver versions. Tried PCS, tried Windows. Nothing seemed to work, however it was working on the windows test version that was installed by PCS.

I'm using a third-party software now, called Peace. But if you're really into the Sound Blaster software, maybe try asking PCS support, they might be able to help.

I think I might have a solution for you. These drivers are OEM and they are a bit trickier to get to work. Do you have the driver DVD that was provided with the laptop? In that there should be a PreinstallKit folder in the options folder. If you follow the instructions on the options folder then it should work. That was the case for me
