Sound Blaster Cinema 6 not working

The Sound Blaster Cinema application that came with my latop has stopped working all of a sudden. I've tried everything related to the audio drivers, downgrading results in no audio at all. Everything is fully updated.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

What version of windows are you on?

I've been on Windows 11 for over a year. This bug started 2 weeks ago
So it's a real fiddle, you may find doing a clean install of windows is easier actually.

But as it's an OEM piece of software it's not a standard install uninstall job.

I would personally just clean install, install all drivers through windows update, then install graphics direct from nvidia, then soundblaster cinema, and lastly control center.

Thank you.

I'll give it a go and let you know how it goes
If you still have troubles, give PCS a call and they can talk you through. It's possible a recent windows update requires an updated version which they can provide.

But they should be able to take you through the best way to install and uninstall it.

They did provide drivers straight from Clevo that should of worked but that resulted in no sound at all so that was a bit strange.

I am thinking the clean install will help or at the least narrow the issue.

The sound blaster cinema program still isn't working and I had some issues with the audio after the clean install. Had to change the driver in device manager to get any audio at all, never had to do that before

How did you install drivers, and what method did you clean install?

The sound blaster program provided by PCS doesn't install anything so I had to get the program from the Microsoft store
Sound blaster wouldn't install if the audio drivers weren't present first. The one from Microsoft store isn't compatible, it's OEM software, it's not available publicly.

I downloaded the drivers via Windows update and downloaded a clean version of Windows from the recovery process
What do you mean by downloaded a clean version of Windows through recovery process? Do you mean you did a Windows reset from the start menu?

I've installed the drivers provided by PCS from Clevo and they produce the same outcome.

I'm going to get PCS to remote connect as they don't know what the problem is either and all the troubleshooting I've followed should have worked

Ok, see what PCS say.

I don't think you've done a clean install, so the original problem will still remain.

There's a very specific way of correctly configuring windows and drivers on a custom chassis, if you don't follow it, then you'll have problems.
Also pressing fn + esc no longer open CC 3 now. I knew clean installing would cause more problems
Again, from what you're saying I don't believe windows is correctly configured. CC is a management driver that ties into all system drivers, if they're not configured correctly, the it won't work.
