Hi all
Just putting a spec together and have some concerns over two things.
1) it's for editing and video processing, not gaming, and my priorities are video rendering speed and file transfer speed, between various SSDs, HDDs and USB drives. I also would like thunderbolt, and the only motherboard i can find which offers this is:
ASUS® ProArt Z490-CREATOR 10G (LGA1200, Thunderbolt, USB 3.2, CrossFireX) - ARGB Ready
Which is fine by me, but elsewhere there are options for USB and Thunderbolt, but none of the options given include the Thunderbolt. Are these front USB ports perhaps, and the thunderbolt will be at the back?
2) i have 2 x HP E241 monitors which perform well enough for me with my current PC, connected by DVI. I want these to connect to the new PC through their DisplayPort connectors. I will still be using my old PC for certain things, so I'm hoping I can use these monitors for both machines and simply swap between DVI>Displayport, without having to swap cables over every time i switch PCs, What graphics card will support dual displayport monitor connections?
thanks
