I have specific needs in that I run my current laptop from an inverter which ramps the mains up from a 12 volt battery bank.
The laptop I use currently is rated at 1.5 amp at mains, and the charger supplies 19 volts at 4.74 amps. What that means is, there is a draw of approximately <6 amps from my batteries when using the laptop.
Now, I need a more powerful computer as this laptop is incredibly slow at running Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop. Most all in ones I see have a mains draw of 2-2.5 amps, which means they use far too much current for my batteries to cope with. If you refer to the usage above, I can't really exceed 7amps in total.
So, my question is, how powerful a computer can I get for those stated power needs?
I realise this might be a difficult one to answer but I've failed so far to find anything off the shelf. (iMac's draw 10 amps and I really don't want to move from Windows)
This might be my ideal setup as I'd love an all in one type machine:
