A couple through, both Music On Vinyl

Deep Forest - Boheme, their second album, not been reissued since original release in 1995, so it's a pretty important one for the collection. Music On Vinyl are always digital sources (not that it matters with these as both are more than likely digital masters anyway being 90's records), they're one of the most reliable presses around, always top notch mastering and sound quality. Only 1000 released, was incredibly lucky to get one.

Ministry - The Land Of Rape and Honey, their 3rd album actually, but was the first one I ever heard and really pulled them into the limelight back in the 90s. This was a huge album while I was at school, I wasn't so into metal, but a lot of my friends were metalheads and these songs bring back good memories of them.

Leaving Laurel - When the Quiet Comes

They were a trio, then unfortunately one of their bandmates passed away shortly after they're breakout first album in 2020. This is a tribute to him.

This is a pretty cool one, from the French label, Ed Banger Records, a compilation box set of 4 EPs. Only 1000 made

Couple more

Jessie Ware - That Feels Good, there was one track I heard on the radio that really grabbed me off this, I can't remember which one, but quite a funky 70s vibe going on which I really like

Paul Oakenfold - Bunkka (Remastered), his first major album reissued for the first time since release in 2002. Incredible album, really varied.

So some awesome ones today.

The US import of Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 3

And what will be one of the jewels in my crown, the German 1979 Amiga pressing of Dark Side Of the Moon. This is a quadrophonic mix which apparently sounds absolutely incredible and at a really decent cost. This is a NM version. This one was 40 Euros from a German seller with very high feedback rating, the next one up at NM was over 100 euros, so I think I got really lucky. I absolutely can't wait to spin this!

Couple of unusual classical today.

This was from a wonderful couple in the US, I've bought from them before, all their records are NM and still in original shrink, they've been so well cared for, these are old 60s records. They're selling them to make some cash for their sisters wedding which was the weekend before last. I paid stupid money to have these shipped from the US, but the condition of the ones I've bought off them previously makes it clear these have been masterfully looked after and it's rare to find copies in such good condition.

The shipment got handed over in the US, and then tracking just said delivered with no forwarding tracking, so we assumed it had been misdelivered, and they fully refunded me. A month later and here they are!

Debussy* / Ravel* / Dukas* / Chabrier* / Eduard Van Remoortel*, Wiener Symphoniker – Prélude À L'Après-Midi D'Un Faune/Boléro/L'Apprenti Sorcier/España

No idea what year it is, Discogs doesn't list it. No idea what the music is either, only know Debussy's reference from Family Guy, so they must be pretty famous :ROFLMAO:

Johannes Brahms - Vladimir Golschmann Conducting Vienna State Opera Orchestra* – Symphony No. 4 In E Minor Opus 98 (1965)

I have absolutely no idea what this stuff is like, I just wanted to support that family a bit, and these are in such good condition, hopefully I'll enjoy the music.

Fantastic records!
Truly are, I need to pick up a load of Pearl Jam albums, this is my first of theirs, not sure what this copy is like. But the Rage Against the Machine copy is a good one, Music On Vinyl tend to be the best for 90s / 00s reissues as they're all digital masters anyway, that is until the audiophile labels choose to repress them fingers crossed.

But 90s original pressings tend to sound pretty crappy as they weren't really concentrating on good copies back then with th death of vinyl
