SSDs & RAID

Hi
Does anyone know if PCS's RAID software can be configured to RAID 5, they only offer RAID O or 1 on the configurator?

You can get RAID 5 on a server, but not on a desktop. (Which is sensible. You shouldn't have RAID 5 on a desktop. Arguably you shouldn't have RAID at all on a desktop.)

Thanks for your factually incorrect opinion, not what I am after though. FYI my current rig can use RAID 5 or 10 and currently set to 10 but I am trying to investigate cost cutting on whether to switch to SSDs for storage on RAID 5.

The question still stands though, why do you need RAID 5?
