Stuck in Boot loop after failed system Image restore. Can't get boot usb to work, help please!

So I was having trouble with a system build (software) and I set off a Macrium Reflect system image restore. When I came back to the laptop it was stuck in a permanent loop were it says Restarting on the windows light blue screen, then the screen goes blank for a couple of minutes and back to the same system restarting message and black again.

I got into the Insyde H2O BIOS looking to find a way to set the boot priority or system restore section but I am finding it to be very unintuitive.
I have the boot drive I got with my laptop plugged into the machine but I can't see a way to get the machine to boot from this drive.

I have attached a screen shot of the Boot From File explorer page but it is not obvious to me what to do next.
It looks like it is just showing me local files and not files from the usb boot drive.

Any help would be appreciated.

Um.. is this a PCspecialist PC? if it isn't you would be better of going to another place like Tomshardware site or similar. they only help with PCspecialist computers here

Doh! I just looked at the most recent screen shots and I see that the USB drive did actually show up on the list when I went into the sub menu that time. It wasn't showing up before even though it had been connected.

Going to try and get the system back up now.

I will be back if I hit any problem.

Try booting from the Macrium Recovery USB again & choosing to repair boot files.

Before you do anything, remove the M.2 drive and reseat it. We've had numerous issues caused by M.2 drives that needed reseating. Then run the Macrium Reflect restore again.

Thanks for the replies.

I did try all of the repair options I could see but nothing worked so I ended up rebuilding my software platform from the provided USB recovery key.

Interesting about the reseating issue, I had done all of the work before I saw that so will try it if I run into trouble again.
