If it were mine I'd want a new screen rather than try to force this one. It's up to you though.I didn't buy the guarantee but I have messaged PCS. I wasn't particularly thrilled at the idea of having to send it back though, hence wondering, probably in vain, if there might be another solution.
I have no idea, I've never used software of that type. Ask PCS whether attempting to fix it yourself via software will affect the manufacturer's warranty. If it doesn't then it's worth a try, but if it does I would bite the bullet and get the screen changed.I take it from that response that the software is unlikely to be particularly effective. I was steeling myself to the prospect of having to return it. Thanks for the reply.
