Sudden Slowdown

I called this morning and hung around on the phone while the engineer tracked down the BIOS. Reflashing solved the problem. Could have been solved two weeks ago if the BIOS was made available on the downloads page like any other sensible tech company does.

Control Centre (for windows 11) still doesn't work, but sod it - as the problem was caused by the Windows software, the best strategy is to ditch windows and move to Debian.

Have they given you the updated control center for windows 11 as you had the windows 10 version? Just to be clear, using the windows 10 version will cause the same issue.

Custom chassis are not the same when it comes to BIOS flashes, and PCS hold the BIOS back for the exact reason that it's very easy to brick your machine if you don't know what you're doing, so not having BIOS public is absolutely necessary.

Even if it was public, you've agreed to PCS terms and conditions to only flash a bios on their approval. You have to remember that a lot of users aren't computer literate, they have to protect the overall customer, not just cater for those that are more experienced.
