You can see the trajectory the thread is taking already. And it will get worse, it’s the laws of mob mentality. People tend to gravitate to negativity rather than relying on common sense.

We will lock this thread if it deteriorates too far.

I've read and NOW I'm aware. Would've been nice to know BEFORE I slapped 2k on a computer and put strain on my relationship :)
Just some pro-activeness on the situation from PCS of finding a solution and communicating that solution has been weak.

Cheers Alex. I thought that may be the case. I’ll still call at 9 and see what info they can give. I’ll post PCS’s response as soon as I’ve spoken to them. Unless Spyder locks the thread by then. 😂

I'd ask you please to not lock this thread and rather remove/ban comments that go too far. This thread is going to be useful in the coming days/hours when people report what they've gotten from phoning/emailing etc. Just requesting if possible. I understand if it gets bad, but this thread will be useful to people

😂😂 I’m really not joking. The guy read the official reasoning out to me verbatim from the screen. He’s in shock himself to be fair. He’s just put me on hold to go and find out some more information.

Well, I'll take that over a stock issue, but surely they can send it without the logo lol! Hopefully you can get some more info from the person on the phone, that's well funny lol

I really hope that they won't delay till November due to the logo. I will know its a PCS computer, its not like ill be taking it out with me

That would affect every single build haha. Can you imagine all their employees just sat around twiddling their thumbs for 2 months waiting for some logos.

Yep, same email here today also. I'm absolutely gutted. My first feeling is to just cancel the order.

I’ve just spoken to phone chat after getting The Email (dun dun duuuuh) on my new AMD and 3080 system, and they have told me that the delay is caused by the PCS logos to go on the cases, which are not due until November. The very helpful young man then told me if I was happy to proceed without the logo it can proceed as normal.

Perhaps if you are in the same boat give them a call and they can sort it out.

For info, I am 591 in the build queue, and the best estimate is next week for build.

(Edit: Steve beat me to it)
