Just contacted the chat team, and asked about swapping to the 3070 and changing my case (as that is also out of stock). Response below ...
"Changing to 3070 would not speed the order up as there are more orders waiting for that GPU. The only change that would speed it up would be the 3060.

Regarding the case I would recommend to change it, as we do not have any confirmed date at all from the manufacturer and we are not sure if/when we will receive more"

With regards to the case, I had originally ordered the Define 7. So looking at options, I was thinking about the Corsair 5000D, but not too sure. Any advice or other recmmendations? I'm not too bothered about RGB. Full spec below ...

(BTW - does my "production time" start again, if I amend the order? ie - does my place in the queue alter?)

I went into Build, after 33 days, this morning after changing few things.
For the spec check the signature.

Have to admit, I am slightly annoyed. On the chat yesterday and told "no point in switching to 3070 as queue just as big". Log on just now and others reporting that they switched to 3070 this morning and are now into build :(

I'm in Ireland so it was euros for me but with the changes below to my pc, it came to exactly €116 or £100.08

Yeah I'm pretty sure this happens if your past a certain day/stage. I was on day 36 and even changing to a 3060 from a 3060 ti would cost me extra money, guessing they don't want people swapping so close to building phase, which is unfair imo given the lack of supply.

That is wild speculation on your part and completely incorrect. Prices can and do fluctuate ALL THE TIME. Please do not use the forum as a place to theorise and make such accusations.
