This is my new PC that I ordered today (I can still make changes). What do you think? Do you have any advice before It is built?

Hi there! Looks like a beast. Would be good to know what you plan to use it for, what monitor it'll be paired with and the budget you have. Also if you're able to post the full spec, that'd be great (how to do that can be found here)

My monitor is a Samsung G9 Neo 49
Fantastic. This build should do you nicely

Case
CORSAIR iCUE 5000X RGB MID TOWER GAMING CASE
Processor (CPU)
Intel® Core™ i9 16-Core Processor i9-12900K (3.2GHz) 30MB Cache
Motherboard
GIGABYTE Z690 AORUS ELITE DDR4 (LGA1700, USB 3.2, PCIe 5.0) - ARGB Ready
Memory (RAM)
32GB Corsair VENGEANCE RGB PRO DDR4 3200MHz (2 x 16GB) DDR5 currently offers very little performance gains over DDR4 so I'd save the cash and go for DDR4 right now
Graphics Card
10GB NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 - HDMI, DP, LHR The 3090 is really a workstation card and you're spending 10,500kr/ 1.000eur on very little gain. Even if you have the cash, going 3080 is a more sensible choice
1st M.2 SSD Drive
500GB SAMSUNG 980 PRO M.2, PCIe NVMe (up to 6900MB/R, 5000MB/W) Reduced the size of the OS drive, this will be plenty for Windows and Programs
1st M.2 SSD Drive
2TB INTEL® 670p M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD (up to 3500MB/sR | 2700MB/sW) The Samsung 970 doesn't seem to be an option on the DDR4 configurator, this is another solid choice
Power Supply
CORSAIR 1000W RMx SERIES™ MODULAR 80 PLUS GOLD, ULTRA QUIET
Power Cable
1 x 1 Metre UK Power Cable (Kettle Lead)
Braided Power Supply Cables
CORSAIR Premium Individually Sleeved PSU Cable Kit Pro - Black Not necessary, but will give the build an awesome aesthetic touch
Processor Cooling
Corsair H150i ELITE CAPELLIX RGB Hydro Series High Performance CPU Cooler The 12900K is a HOT CPU so you need the best cooler you can get for it so I've swapped up to a 360mm AIO. It'll also look awesome in the case
Thermal Paste
STANDARD THERMAL PASTE FOR SUFFICIENT COOLING The Corsair units come with high quality thermal paste pre applied so the MX4 isn't necessary here
Extra Case Fans
3x Corsair LL120 RGB LED Fan + Controller Kit Again, not necessary, but will help the build look awesome
Sound Card
ONBOARD 6 CHANNEL (5.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)
Network Card
10/100/1000 GIGABIT LAN PORT
Wireless Network Card
WIRELESS INTEL® Wi-Fi 6 AX200 2,400Mbps/5GHz, 300Mbps/2.4GHz PCI-E CARD + BT 5.0 The DDR5 motherboard had built in WiFi, this one doesn't so I've added a WiFi card
USB/Thunderbolt Options
MIN. 2 x USB 3.0 & 2 x USB 2.0 PORTS @ BACK PANEL + MIN. 2 FRONT PORTS
Operating System
Windows 10 Home 64 Bit - inc. Single Licence [KUK-00001] I'd stick to Windows 10 until all the bugs have been ironed out of W11. Also is there a feature in Windows Professional you know you need? There vary rarely is and if so, just save the cash
Operating System Language
United Kingdom - English Language
Windows Recovery Media
NO RECOVERY MEDIA REQUIRED
Office Software
FREE 30 Day Trial of Microsoft 365® (Operating System Required)
Anti-Virus
NO ANTI-VIRUS SOFTWARE Windows Defender is perfectly fine
Browser
Microsoft® Edge (Windows 10 Only)
Warranty
3 Year Standard Warranty (1 Month Collect & Return, 1 Year Parts, 3 Year Labour)
