Hi all,
I purchased this PC around 2 years ago and I am looking to make some upgrades. I mostly use the rig for gaming, online poker and occasionally streaming whilst doing either of these activities.
I do find that when playing games, the PC it will occasionally stick, i'll move the mouse / cross hairs and everything will freeze for a few seconds. It was suggested to me that I was running the frames to high for my monitor however I always enable V-Sync and run the games at the frame rate for my monitor.
My initial thoughts were to either upgrade the GPU however I feel the games are running fine for my 60Hz monitor and this may be overkill. The second option being to install another 2 8gb RAM sticks.
Keen for everyones thoughts... I am aware that I will be told to upgrade that monitor before I do anything else...
