Ubuntu working ok on Initia14?

Hi,

I'm looking at this config for Ubuntu, it will be used for some programming:

Graphics Card
INTEL® HD GRAPHICS (CPU Dependant) - 1.7GB Max DDR4 Video RAM - DirectX® 12
1st M.2 SSD Drive
512GB PCS PCIe M.2 SSD (3300 MB/R, 2200 MB/W)

Has anyone installed Ubuntu on one of these before?

Replying to my own post in case anyone else looks for this info.

No problems at all. Installed very easily from Ubuntu standard bootable usb stick, runs well.

Ubuntu is an open source software operating system that runs from the desktop, to the cloud, to all your internet connected things.

Ships with an unlicensed version of windows for pre-ship testing and to prove the setup works. Just boot that up to check for yourself (skip wireless credentials so it doesn't go online) then restart with the bootable USB, press F7 during setup, choose the USB stick for boot and do the install.

No problems with peripherals, e.g. trackpad?

I've not noticed any issues at all. Camera ok, trackpad does two-finger scroll etc. and the function keys work as you'd expect.
