UNSOLVABLE - Microsoft Store and Apps close immediately.

Hi all, I would greatly appreciate if anyone can solve this issue. I've spent hours searching and completing proven steps to resolve this issue, but none work for me.

If I try to run Photos, Calculator, Microsoft store, the app opens then immediately closes. (I assume there are others apps.)

I have Terminated the app, Repaired the app, Restarted the app in the app settings and this does not solve the issue.

I have reinstalled the apps, even through the powershell (admin) command method, and this does not solve the issue.


This is a relatively new PC, purchased in December 2022. I have only games via Steam downloaded.

Happy to screen record the issue. Please can you help?

Could you copy and paste the specs and remember to remove your windows key?

To be honest, you could troubleshoot for hours and not get anyway, windows store issues are common, a clean install doesn’t take long and will correct it.
