I don't know if it's coincidence, but after installing these drivers my electricity meter/monitor is showing the PC is using about 50% of the power it was before the update.
It used to go from mid-green to mid-orange on the dashboard as soon as a game started up, but now it goes to high-green on boot to low-orange with the same game running...which is about 1/3 saving on power.
Very strange, but if it's true, then it's saving me ~30p/day.
