My PSU is still buzzing away and I'm going to put in a return for a replacement on Monday,

I waited a little longer due to getting Aliens Fireteam Elite for my Xbox Series X which is coming out on Tuesday and which will pass the time while waiting for the replacement PSU to turn up because i just don't want to have to mess around putting all the older components back in, to only strip them out again in a couple of days when a replacement PSU shows up,

As for the 3080Ti i got, i didn't expect it to be so big and heavy, when i installed it, it was sagging a fair amount...

No Sag, thanks to a GPU support brace i got for it...

These pictures can also show the space this GPU has inside a Corsair 680X case to the front fans as well as the GPU support brace/arm.

I also replaced what is known as Pigtail PCIe cables from what was being used on my 2080Ti for three Corsairs Premium Single Connector 6+2 8pin PCIe cables...

I like those GPU cables, they're nice!

I couldn't quite work out if you had a GPU bracket installed, but they're well worth it to prevent the card from sagging over time:

You can get something really basic:

Or RGB:

Or UBER customised mentallness which I rather admire!

This is the GPU support I'm using...

very basic but it's getting the job done, you kind of see it in the 3rd and 4th images i posted, supporting the corner of the GPU and taking the weight and stops the sag.

Looks really nice and that support looks great as does all the RGB, but in that first and second photo the thing that jumps out at me is the motherboard speaker.............yeah I know its only small :ROFLMAO:

It would be nice if it was integrated into or onto the motherboard somewhere, than to have it just dangling there, there's just nowhere to hide the ugly spud.

It's not long enough to hide behind the rubber grommet and if i could try hide it behind the other cables, it's still going to stick out like a sore thumb.

Though it has not really bothered me, that it's just there, dangling away.

I put in a return for a replacement this morning and got an email not that long ago from Amazon, that the replacement PSU will arrive sometime tomorrow,

I wasn't expecting a replacement to be sent out until Amazon received my defective PSU first.

It's one of the benefits of buying from Amazon, once the return has been agreed, they sort things there end and stipulate if they don't get the item back they can charge you

I got my new PSU installed and so far, so good, loaded up some games and all is quiet, it's no longer buzzing away like i have a bee hive stuck in my case.

I will keep my ear's open just in case over the next few days but looking good so far(y).
