Upgrading gaming pc

Hi
I bought my son a pc 3 years ago that he uses for school work and gaming. The pc has been excellent and played everything thrown at it. Im now thinking it would be a good time to upgrade it to enhance his gaming experience. I was thinking more memory and a graphic card with a budget of around £400. Below are the pc specs what would you recommend as a good compatible upgrade for this pc?

Thanks

You could stretch to the RTX 2060 or the Super version and squeeze another 8GB Ram in , then you should be fine for maybe 1 or 2 years before looking to upgrade to a nice new shiny PC and you could then keep the RTX 2060 / Super for your next build ( i7-7700k will compliment this GPU nicely ) , but this is only my opinion and i am sure others will have their input.
