Urgent help required

I recently just bought 2 new sticks of RAM.

I followed the guide I found online to fit it

1. Unplug machine and all wires
2. Hold down power button for a few seconds to get rid of any standing electricity
3. Unclip and remove old ram
4. Slide in new ram ensuring they are in the same colour slots. I just put them in the slots the old ones came out of.
5. Clip them in
6. Boot up machine. This may take a few boots as it recognises new ram

When I push power, nothing comes up on screen and the machine keeps beeping at me.

Is this a PCSpecialist machine? Can you post your full specs from the order page?

Also do you have a link to the RAM you’re trying to install?

Yes it is a PC specialist machine - I just added a bit more RAM to it.

I managed to get it working with some persistence and google searching prior to your reply.
