Loving the customer OC action though. Can you post the before and after benches together? Also run Vantage with Physx off..no..wait, um.

the 5850 would last about 1/4 of the time at that level of OC, so you'd end up buying atleast one more of that card in the lifespan of a GTX 480
Not really, the whole main selling point of the 5850 is it can reach 5870 levels with minimal effort, you just save £100. Add in the fact that this card has a custom cooling solution and everyone is a winner. When temps never go above 60c, everyone is laughing.

I can't wait.
Even with stock settings it amazes me that vantage can still get the minimum fps down into the low twenties when you look at how basic the graphics look.

Well I thought I would post my scores but nvidia drivers don't like my pc . It seems like 3D vision drivers are as buggy as when SLI was first introduced. With 3D vision disabled ... vantage still loads in steroscopic...If I unplug the IR transmitter ... vantage still loads in stereoscopic LOL
Ah well scores 15k in 3D without 3D you can normally expect anything to 20-60% increase on that. Not bad going for an old 775 Proc, 280gtx, running in 3D. Once I sort the drivers out and new gpu I'll teach you how to oc. I took my old E6850 to 4.8ghz on air a feet for any serious overclocker.

I will run again 2night and see if the new nvidia drivers have fixed the 3d vision issue. You simply can't run Vantage in no 3d even if you go into the drivers and turn it off doesn't work nor does pressing the button on the transmittor to diable 3d work.
We know vantage is old now we should be posting some Heaven with extreme tesselation marks?
