My budget is around £1200. The monitors are to be used with the tower as dual monitors (i was wondering if the display port cable was what i needed, or something else). Finally, the system is just for general use and casual gaming, so at the moment i am not thinking of streaming or editing - but i may in the future.

Any improvements would be more than welcome as this is my first ever time building a spec. Thanks in advance.

I know it's a bit more than your budget but this build is much more balanced than your previous one and will have better performance. The case is a very good budget case for airflow. This Cpu is more reliable now than intel and usually have lower temps and usage making the lifetime longer and the performance is the same or in some cases outperforms it. the stock cooler with AMD as well is 10 times better than intel stock cooler. 1660 is perfect for 1080p gaming as you will get good Fps at this level with high settings. i added much better Ram as the 4gb you had wouldn't of been enough this has 16gb and 3000mhz which will give a much higher performance boost on games. I changed the power supply to 650W txm as txm are lot more efficient and lower temps and quieter. it also is semi-modular for better cables management which means better airflow for the pc. I also added a SSD to build which will help with boot-up times and makes your general gaming experience better as there is less loading times. Downloading ur Operation onto the SSD your boot-up time will normally be halved.

Yes thank you for the advice. Can you put those upgrades in for me as i can just about get hold of that £200 to take the budget to £1400. Look forward to seeing the improvements!

None of us work for PCS so can't amend your build at all.

If you log into your main PCS account, you can go into the build and make amendments if you've ordered it already. But as you're going from Intel to AMD, you'd have to cancel your existing order and start over as it's an entirely different build.

i haven't ordered it yet I'm just researching and making quotes since this is my first experience in buying/making a pc. I was only asking for help since i know you guys are more knowledgeable than me. Following up Nursemorphs message, i can change the motherboard on the route myself but i am not sure what an MSI monitor is?

* sorry not motherboard!! GPU

Also one final thing, I was hoping that my custom build could have liquid cooling. Would this be smart or should i just stick with standard cooling on Nursemorfs spec
