That's the thing I don't think it's caused by heat because I was having no issues at all until I cleaned out my gpu fan (which would presumably be making it run hot) and cranked up the now unthrottled graphics. I think I'm going to look for a new laptop in the next year or so or maybe just switch to desktop so right now I just want to keep it running ok.
