For gaming in 1 screen it seems overkill to get 2 x GTX 780s. You could save some money by going for the non-k version of the cpu if it is mainly for gaming and a cheaper motherboard without any loss in performance. A bit confused with the 2 monitors of difference size.

What are you using it for? The 32GB RAM seems a bit much for some tasks so you could knock that down to 16 or even 8GB for if it's just for gaming. You could even knock the CPU cooler down to the H60 if you aren't overclocking.

what everyone else said... and get a caviar black drive instead of the standard sata drives. you could probably drop the mobo a notch or two, unless you specifically want the RED rog theme.

Go for the 3gb version of the 780's though, - incase you want to add more screens in the future ;)

By the time games need 32gb RAM you are likely to need a new system anyway, I reckon the gpu and cpu will bottleneck your system before the RAM does. If money is not an issue go for it but I rather spend half the money and upgrade in 2/3 years than just spend a lot attempting to futureproof a system for 6 years which is almost impossible if you play very demanding games.

Ok guys now changed as above one think I did find was the option to overclock processor to 4.5 so I've selected that instead, is it ok to overclock?

Or there is the 3770 six core processor but obviously that's not the new 4th gen, which option is best

Dangers of overclocking the cpu is that it may cause instability issues , most games are gpu dependant and you gains from overclocking the cpu wouldn't be noticeable.

Ooooo really, didn't know,

So then the new 4th gen quad core which is 3.5mhz or the older six core think that's 4.5. ???

Thanks

An i5 will be sufficient for gaming, an i7 is not essential unless you are planning to run more cpu intensive applications (rather than gaming) or those that benefit from overclocking. Neither an overclocked cpu nor a six core processor are needed for gaming, if you want to get the best value for money I'd go with an i5-4670 but between those 2 CPUs you indicated the i7-4770.

Excellent most helpful tar, I'm pretty set on 7 ultimate, but liked the new direct x and stuff with 8, but I suppose that can be installed, my own feeling is that 8 is more for touch screen.
