Also whats the story with multiplayer for cross stores i.e. Steam and Uplay?
Will someone who purchased a game on Steam be able to play against Uplayers?

Alright so even though your buying it through Shteam its just that your buying the game for use in Uplay.
Yep that's pretty much it, I think I even had to enter a code into Uplay before I could play. That may have changed since.

Really? Just because the game runs in Uplay? And if Total Rome was made by the Ubi what would you not also played the?
one similarity between ubisoft and sega is that they are both exceptionally good at rolling out the DLC cash grab wagon.
Neither can hold a candle to EA though.
