What a piece of <rubbish>!

Right from brand new my laptop hasn't worked correctly. When I hit the power on button a little green light blinks next to it and nothing happens, it just refuses to turn on. I have tried holding the button, unplugging everything i.e. monitors and power supply and even leaving it alone for a while but nothing works. I have already sent it back once and after weeks of posession I am just told they cannot find the problem despite me sending loads of videos of what is happening proving it is real. The fault seems to come and go quite regularly so if anyone has any suggestions as PC Specialist don’t seem to care about sending it back to be with the same issues?

I've altered your title because this is a family friendly forum.

I also appreciate your frustration but PCS can only fix problems which they can reproduce on their bench. Your description is also a bit confusing, first you appear to say that it won't turn on at all despite what you do and then you say that it 'comes and goes'. Intermittent faults are a nightmare to find of course, but it would have been enormously helpful to you and to PCS if you had been able to find a pattern, some technique that almost always caused the problem so that you could give PCS a clue on how to reproduce it. Did it fail when on battery alone for example? Did it fail only when plugged into the charger, or did it fail with the charger plugged in and the battery out?

Since it seems the laptop is now with PCS there isn't much help that we can offer on here until you get it back. If you'd care to post the videos on here we'll gladly take a look and see whether anything leaps out at us. Otherwise post back when it's returned to you and it still shows the same problem.

Do you have the laptop with you at the moment?

What you tried taking a video e.g. with a smartphone camera and showing this to PCS?

I have taken several videos on my phone of what happens when I try to turn it and all I get is a little green light flash at me and no power up. I sent all of these with the laptop when I sent it back and I have since sent more post having it back from them saying they cannot find an issue. I have the laptop currently yes.

Not sure how it is confusing. An intermittent fault says it in the name. I haven’t owned the laptop long enough to even find a pattern. It will go a couple of months allowing me to turn it on and then just randomly turning off as though I had just force restarted it (when I havent) which causes me to loose any work that is open. Then the next couple of months it just point blank refuses to turn on. I havent been able to get it on once over Christmas which brings me to now when I really need to do work and it still will not turn on.

When it is in a phase when I can boot it up there is no pattern or anything I can do to replicate its issue of not turning on. And when it turns its self off there is 0 warning. Either way it never works flawlessly.

I have the laptop at the moment and when I try to send a video on he it crosses out the link and says it does not have an allowed extension.

We love you Ukraine
I think it just doesn't allow an .mov

Change it to an .MP4 or .webm maybe that will work
You can't just change a file extension, you'd have to convert the file to another format.

The other option is to upload it somewhere like icloud, and then share it from there and post the sharelink.

I know that :)
It ain't rocket science, you can even convert files online so should be easy enough for anyone.

Sounds like it may be battery/charger related.

When it gives up the ghost the next time take out the battery, plug in the AC and give it a go.
