Graphics wise I am running a Radeon R9 270X 4GB and the PC was running Windows 7 right up until the point Microsoft gave up on it, I then 'upgraded' to Windows 10 and had to fight to prevent freezes as it doesn't like the FX turbo cores (basically solved by turning off OC).

Upgrades since build:

The Keyboard/Mouse was replaced recently with a Razer gaming pack so I have a Razer Kraken 7.1 Headset, Deathadder mouse and Cynoza Chroma keyboard, I have two Acer V246HLs on a monitor stand atm (also have a third similar model but that is now only used for my work laptop)
Inside the PC I fitted a 500GB SSD in place of the 1TB Seagate (that's probably one of these sitting on my desk) and have a 3TB Seagate for game data etc. Only Windows and essential apps runs on the SSD.

I think I've covered everything.. let me know your (old) specs!

I'm going from a GTX650 to an RTX3080 soon and I really don't think I'm ready for the difference.

I don't have the full specs of my current build (despite it being from PCS) because I have a different account than back then, but my current specs include:

Asus Sabertooth Z87 motherboard
i7-4770K
GTX650
16GB RAM
550W PSU

And I'm upgrading to:

I'm going from a poorly balanced Octane 15" laptop (my fault on the bad specs!) - putting an 8700k in there was probably a mistake as I didn't realise at the time just how hot Coffee Lake got. And the less said about that RAM amount the better. Me and my GTX 1070 have had some fun times running non-CPU heavy games though...

to something like this, but I'm amending to a 5900X and 6800XT when the time comes - fully joining Team Red for this generation it seems!

I'm upgrading from:
Intel i7-4710HQ 2.5 GHz (4 physical cores) with Intel HD Graphics 4600
NVidia GeForce GTX 860M 4 GB
16 GB RAM (upgraded from 8GB at some point)

I don't remember the exact model (and it's now pretty immobile because of its broken screen so I can't look underneath for some more info), but this one is pretty close. I got in in 2014.

And this is the new PC I'm waiting for:
Case
CORSAIR OBSIDIAN SERIES™ 500D SE CASE

Full build

I may upgrade to 5950X if it doesn't get into building by the 5th.

And actually I will be blown away twice — the first time with actually getting 60FPS consistently no matter what I want to play or how much I mod (can't wait to finally add ENB to Skyrim), and the second time I'll experience 4k 144Hz when my monitor arrives. I got Assassin Creed: Odyssey when it was on sale so I'll probably play that first when the PC arrives.

I'm upgrading from a 9 year old PC:
CPU - Intel Core i3-2100 3.1GHz
RAM - 4GB (2 x 2GB Kingston DDR3 1333MHz)
Storage - 500GB WD5000AADS-00S9BU
Motherboard - Intel DH67BL with integrated graphics

I think I *might* notice quite a difference - I know it's not the highest spec compared to some of you, but it should be suitable for my needs for a few years. If nothing else it'll be nice not having to turn it on 10 minutes before I want to try using it, and not being deafened by the fan which sounds like it's trying to take off half the time

upgrading from a lenovo legion y520 laptop with i7-7700HQ, 8GB (upgraded to 16GB) RAM, 256GB SSD (upgraded to a 1TB samsung 970EVO m.2) + 1TB HDD and a Nvidia 1050Ti 4GB. It's been good to me these past years, still working fine, but I can feel it getting slower bit by bit, cleaning it and changing the paste doesn't help anymore, I overwork the CPU to bottlenecking sometimes, especially when I now have a triple monitor setup with 2x FHD + ultrawide 3440x1440 :D
used to have a PC back in the day, with Intel core2duo and a 560Ti, that's all I remember of it now, it was my last PC before getting into laptops!

the rig i'm waiting for:

Due to a busy week I've only managed to make some time for a gaming session this morning. I've spent a few hours playing Watchdogs Legion and I've spent the majority of that walking around, open mouthed at how incredible it looks. Spydertracks was right, it's completely blown me away. I've never seen London look so good!
