I would bump that PSU up to at least 850w.

While 750w is recommended there have been more than a few reports of shutdowns from big power draw spikes from the 3080 across different forums and websites. Some people have no issues while others have to get a new PSU, I'd save some hassle and upgrade it now.

Yes, and if you post your budget, what its going to be used for and monitor details (resolution and refresh rate, or make and model), then we can tell you what else other than the case, the storage & PSU, oh and please post the configuration link and the full spec

Ok I've had a tweak, given you a better case, changed the storage around so you've got a HDD for General storage, a nice fast M.2 for your OS, and a slightly slower 1TB one for your games, I've also upped the PSU to an 850W modular model

Thanks again for your help. I am going to amend my spec with your recommendations. Hopefully I won't be waiting too long for the 3080.

Hey @Willheg I couldn’t find the exact specs for your TV so a question, is it 60hz or 120hz? If it’s 60 then you’d be perfectly fine with a 3070 and then could spend the saved cash on a better base (CPU, mobo cooler). If it’s 120hz then the 3080 would be the correct choice, thought it was worth noting.

Looks to be beastly (that's good beastly btw) aside from a couple caveats; typical OLED burn in risk and that it's so fast it can cause stuttering in some scenarios. Both can be easily worked around and those aside, it scores great on everything and I might have ended up with one if not for price/availability (and the fact I'm a Samsung fanboy) Almost perfect TV for gaming with a 3080.
